DeSantis is not a stupid man. He seems stupid when he points to ‘wokeness’ as a cause for a bank failure, but it’s not us he’s talking to. He’s a grifting politician who thinks/hopes his voters are stupid and will accept his manipulative charge as a reason to vote for him. We’ll hear that charge for the next 18 months, and candidates need a snappy comeback that will show the superficiality of the people who make it.
