Shiny object of desperation... Trump's nonsensical threats to suspend the constitution... ye, Fuentes... it's all the same. In his desperation he is pointing to the squirrel and getting everyone to look. He knows that the Republicans will be asked about it and it fuels him and them. And he knows that both outcomes work for him. If the decry his actions... it works. If they don't.. it works. He wins both ways. And we, the public are robbed of attention to the real stuff that needs our attention... again. And no one in the press should expect a Republican to denounce him. And anyway... what would that even mean? It would not make them any less radical in their policies and goals of keeping power for power's sake. Just look at Kemp. He distanced himself from Trump and is seen as 'moderate'.... he is not moderate. And can we please stop calling these people conservatives??? Its a total misnomer. Thanks for what you do.

Well, there is so much of this I am not going to consume, as I consume it all constantly. I cannot read another word about "Ye" On the other hand, if you want to listen to a new potential star, who will do the work and has a real sense of humor, listen to today's pod "Oregon Rainmakers." She is just amazing.

"Party in power passing laws that benefit themselves."

Such a shame that Dems didn't pass a bill to at least prevent members of Congress and their families from owning individual stocks. I love Pelosi and will always marvel at what she's accomplished for the country. But rejecting even this small, tepid ethics/conflict of interest effort will always be a disappointment.

I keep thinking…. If DeSantis beats Trump in the primary, wouldn’t we expect Trump to never accept it, lead his followers to either not vote (or, if he thought he could make a buck out of it, start a third party. Perhaps the Bull Mouse. Or the Bull Shit party). Not that I think DeSantis can do it. He has no chin, as they say in boxing. One of the mouthy candidates (Christy, Trump) will take him out.

Does anyone else wonder what Jared Kushner thinks of the antisemitism, though granted he's a jerk of a pisher?

The Republican Jewish Coalition released a statement on its website condemning Ye, Fuentes, and Alex Jones, but not mentioning DJT. That's the organization where Senator Cancun spoke last month.

According to the Jewishvirtuallibrary, in the 116th Congress, all Jews in the Senate (about 10) are Democrats, and only 2 (of about 27) in the House are Republican: Lee Zeldin (who lost for governor in NY) and David Kustoff.

Newly elected Jewish members of Congress are Becca Balint (D - VT); Seth Magaziner, who joins David Cicilline to represent Rhode Island; Jared Moskowitz (D-FL); Dan Goldman (D-NY); Max Miller (R-OH); Greg Landsman (D-OH).

Even though Adam Frisch conceded defeat to Boebert, the vote was so close there will be a recount.
